Which health and safety qualification should I start with?
New practitioners often start with a Level 3 technical certificate or Level 5 practice diploma depending on experience. Read entry requirements on the course page before applying.
Are these qualifications the same as NEBOSH?
LEAP delivers Ofqual-regulated OTHM and Qualifi diplomas — a different route from NEBOSH awards. Employers may accept either; confirm with your employer or client.
Does a diploma give IOSH membership?
Completing a regulated diploma does not automatically grant IOSH membership grades. IOSH sets its own academic and experience requirements.
Are OHS courses assessed by exam?
Most LEAP OHS diplomas use assignment-based assessment. See the course specification for details.
Can I study OHS while working on site?
Yes. Learning is online; you apply health and safety concepts in your workplace as part of study.
